To nominate, state your case about why your candidate is deserving and tell us a bit about her background, reputation, previous honors and capabilities. If there is an interesting back story on your candidate, tell us. We ask for contact information for your candidate, yourself and any PR contacts for the nominee. Honorees can be from any type of company or discipline as long as they are making an impact in marketing, advertising or media. But remember we are looking for recent accomplishments, challenges and successes. Be as specific as possible.

There is no set number of honorees, but we generally celebrate at least 20 women each year. Please note we do not repeat Women to Watch, so people who have won this honor already are not eligible. Click here to see a list of past winners.

The submission deadline is 11:59 p.m. ET on May 1 and there is a $250 processing fee for nominations. A team of editors will review all the submissions, research candidates and seek input from staff reporters on the final decisions. The staff may also consider candidates that were not nominated through the submission process.

Winners will be notified by mid-May and a special issue of Advertising Age honoring the Women to Watch class of 2016 both in print and online will publish May 30.
